Roshan Parikh presented two pressure-injury AI studies co-first-authored with Tong Wang at SAWC Fall 2026 in Las Vegas.

Their work tested how models trained on public datasets perform on representative clinical images and how confident learning combined with physician review can improve staging. The model-generalization study received the 2026 Marie Brown Etris 3rd Place Oral Abstract Award.
